Podziwiam Ruth Bader Ginsburg, ale moim zdaniem to Marty jest niedostatecznie docenionym bohaterem ich historii. Ponoć gdy scenarzysta Daniel Stiepleman przedstawił Ruth pomysł nakręcenia filmu, Bader Ginsburg postawiła dwa warunki: Get the law right oraz Get Marty right. Zazwyczaj to "za wielkim mężczyzną stoi wspaniała kobieta", tutaj było na odwrót. Tym bardziej zdumiewające, gdy weźmie się pod uwagę czasy, w których rozegrała się ta historia.

I do admire Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but in my opinion it's Marty who's an unsung hero if their story. Supposedly when screenwriter Daniel Stiepleman approached Ruth about the movie, she had two conditions: Get the law right and Get Marty right. Usually it's "behind a great man there is a wonderful woman", here it was the other way round. It's especially incredible given the times in which this story happened.
